The Season of Giving - Day 9

The Season of Giving, Day 9 goes to The Wellington Food Bank - Angel Tree Program on behalf of James Carson.

The Angel Tree program is an initiative in conjunction with The Wellington Food Bank to support children in the community who are unable to take part in the Christmas season.

Ways in which people can help:
• Select a child from the Angel Tree list and purchase a present from their wish list
• Purchase one of the pre-ordered gifts
• Donate and a committee member will go purchase a gift on your behalf
• Donate an unwrapped gift such as board games, toboggans, puzzles, colouring books, etc.

The Storehouse Foodbank collects food, clothing and household items for families in need in Wellington and surrounding areas, from Bloomfield to Ameliasburgh, Consecon and Carrying Place.

The Storehouse is currently serving 372 individuals twice a month with basic necessities, including many seniors dealing with isolation and a fixed income. They strive to ensure that their work has a positive impact by involving individuals, companies, schools and community groups together to end hunger and poverty in the community.
