Even though Spencer only joined the firm "officially" as a lawyer in 2017, he has actually been a member of the Carson Law family for quite some time. First, by acting as a summer student, and then doing his articling with us before being called to the bar, this has allowed Spencer to be an effective member of the legal team right out of the gate. He has also been able to take on a greater workload than most new lawyers are able to handle because he was already familiar with our team-based approach and processes.
Originally from Kilbride, Ontario, Spencer studied health sciences at the University of Ottawa and then liked the school and the city (and maybe the nightlife) so much he stayed there to do law school as well. However, Spencer possessed a strong desire to work within the community he grew up in, which he is now able to do. Spencer works relentlessly, often meeting face-to-face with clients through our mobility signing service, to help navigate through, what he calls positive areas of law; such as buying a home, investing in real estate, and planning an estate for future generations.
When he's not in the office, on the road, or meeting with clients at coffee shops, Spencer blows off steam by spending time with family and friends, playing hockey and golf, and he is also a CSIA level 3 ski instructor.
